Frequently Asked Questions About Sober Living

Do I need to be completely sober before I move in?

Yes. Residents must arrive clean and committed to staying that way. Our homes are sober living environments, not detox or treatment centers, so we expect you to come in sober and ready to work on your recovery.

How long can I stay?

There’s no set time limit. Some residents stay a few months, others longer. We encourage you to stay as long as you need to feel stable, independent, and confident in your recovery.

Can I work or go to school while living there?

Absolutely. Our homes are designed to support a structured, independent lifestyle. Many residents have jobs, go to school, or attend outpatient programs while living here.

What’s the daily routine like?

Each home is structured but flexible. You’ll share responsibilities like cleaning and respecting quiet hours, and we encourage residents to attend meetings, work, or take steps toward their personal goals.

Do I need to bring furniture, dishes, or anything like that?

Nope. The homes are fully furnished, including linens, kitchenware, and cleaning supplies. Just bring your personal items like bath towel and toiletries, your clothes, and a willingness to stay clean.

What happens if I relapse?

We have a zero-tolerance policy for drug or alcohol use in the homes. If a relapse occurs, you’ll need to leave the property, but we’ll do our best to connect you with the right resources to get back on track.
